Tips On Keeping Your Food As Healthy As Possible




Just a short cruise or sail away from downtown Seattle is the Scandinavian themed town of Poulsbo. Located on Liberty Bay on the Kitsap peninsula it is known as the "Little Norway on the Fjord". Founded by Norwegian settlers in the 1880's it has retained its Norwegian heritage. In fact Norwegian was the primary language of Poulsbo up until World War II when it became English.

I prepared potatoes, then I added the tomatoes, cut up a green bell pepper. I found some pork meatballs in the freezer and browned it and added it to the mixture.


Lunch and dinner entrees include lots of meats. There's steak, pork and poultry on the menu. I preferred steak and the pork dishes to the chicken. I found the roast chicken a little bit dry, but for the most part even the chicken dishes were quite good. Favorites here were the Chicken souffle and the Chicken fontina. italian meatballs were delicious and so was the pork loin. The steak was tasty too, though not really the cuts I would buy in the supermarket myself. But then, you can't eat steak every day. It's too expensive.


Now, you can substitute out canned chili for the taco meat. You could also use some pre made diced chicken from the grocery store. Those rotisserie slow cooker recipes chicken are great or even some of those deli sliced chicken strips. Tofu would also work well for any vegetarians. I also like to add black beans to these nachos, which is a great substitution for the more expensive meat.
